B&B in an old grain mill from 1880

Just across the Dutch-German border lies this special B&B in the German border village of Kranenburg. Grain was milled in this beautiful white mill from 1880 until 1940. After the war, it was converted into a house and nowadays, there is also a B&B established in the mill.

The room has two large single beds which can also be put together. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Furthermore, the room has a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Of course, Wi-Fi is also available. When the weather is nice, you can make use of the terrace and garden.

After a wonderfully relaxing night, you will probably feel hungry. Every morning there is a luxury breakfast ready for the guests with fresh German bread rolls and croissants. It is also possible to book a lunch. For only 2.50 euros per person, you can make your own lunch packet (including a bottle and a healthy bar).

In the immediate vicinity of the mill, you can enjoy walking or cycling. Various popular cycling routes are close by and the village of Kranenburg is surrounded by nature reserves. Besides recreation possibilities, you can also shop in Kranenburg, Kleve or Goch.
