Sleep in an old church tower in Arnhem

This stylish overnight stay is without a doubt one of the most special places in the Netherlands. The church has an enormously rich history, dating back to the year 1315. In addition to services for Catholics in earlier times, the church was also used as a prison and an armory, among other things. After the church was no longer used for services since 2013, the 2 towers were transformed into residences. The church hall is currently used as an exhibition space.

This luxurious room is a reference to Louis Napoleon, who returned the church to the Catholics in the early 1800s. In the room you will experience a natural blend of rich history and contemporary luxury. The accommodation has 2 bedrooms, each with a spacious double bed. There are also 2 bathrooms. A large bathroom with shower, bathtub and double sink and a smaller one with shower and sink. There is also a separate toilet. In addition, you can use the fully equipped kitchen with appliances, sitting area with smart TV and dining area, coffee and tea facilities, heating, air conditioning, free wifi and it is possible to park on site (extra charge). Of course, the phenomenal view is free!

It is possible to book breakfast. This costs € 15,00 p.p. It is also possible to park on private property directly in front of the church for € 10,- per car per night. Due to the very sharp increase in energy costs, there is an energy surcharge of €5 per night.

The church is perfectly located for anyone who wants to spend a weekend in Arnhem and its surroundings. From the church you can walk straight into the center of Arnhem. Here you can go shopping, have a drink or visit a nice museum (e.g. The Dutch Open Air Museum). In addition, there is a lot to do in the surroundings of Arnhem. Take a visit to Burgers' Zoo or the National Park De Hoge Veluwe.
