1930s-style trailer with hot tub

Staying in this classic and colorful caravan will take you back to life in the 1930s. An uncomplicated, simple and romantic life. It's an ideal place to take a step back from the hectic world we live in today. Spend your time resting and reading, playing games and then going to bed nice and early. It is a life without hurry, in harmony with nature and enjoying all the good things life has to offer.

The wagon has a fireplace, food is cooked on a kerosene stove, and you sleep in a box bed. Cutlery and pans are provided, as well as basic kitchen utensils and crockery. The bathroom is located in a separate building behind the wagon and has an authentic wooden shower and sink. A bio-toilet is in the same room. There was no Wi-Fi in the 1930s, so you can go completely offline during your stay. However, there is a possibility to charge your mobile phone.

Hot tub
You have complete privacy. Next to the wagon, there is a wood-fired hot tub that you can use. A hot tub package with wood, fresh water firelighters, bathrobes, bath towels and slippers costs € 20.00.

Breakfast
Optionally, a vegetarian breakfast with regional delicacies can be served on weekends. The owners will prepare it at your desired time. It costs €20.00 for 2 persons and can be communicated to the landlord after your booking on Vipio. You also have the possibility to book a basket with food that people used to eat back in the days. Simple, but tasty. That's all a person needs. Recipes and a short food history are included.

Surroundings
The caravan is located on the border between Groningen and Friesland. The environment is characterized by a small-scale character and a friendly atmosphere. The region is ideal for cycling and walking, for example through the unique stream and swamp area of the river Lauwers. Furthermore, a day trip to one of the Wadden Islands, such as Schiermonnikoog, is worthwhile. Prefer a little more liveliness? Then the cozy city of Groningen is definitely worth a visit.
