Tiny house overlooking a beaver's lair!

Definitely recommended. Brand new (2021) and a beautiful location on an artificial lake on the outskirts of Hoogeveen. Includes a small boat with electric outboard motor. What more could a person want. Owners are very thoughtful and provide you with relevant information of what is to be experienced in the area.Zeker een aanrader. Gloednieuw (2021) en een prachtige ligging aan een kunstmatig meer aan de rand van Hoogeveen. Inclusief een bootje met elektrische buitenboordmotor. Wat wil een mens nog meer. Eigenaren zijn zeer meedenkend en voorzien je van relevantie informatie van wat er allemaal in de omgeving te beleven is.

Luxury beach house by the water incl. boat

The gypsy wagon was in a nice and quiet spot in the middle of the flower farm, where nature feels a little closer, the birds waking us in the morning with their chirping over the roof to snack on the berries behind the gypsy wagon, further on the terrain a little sheep and very friendly chickens that I could pet. Everything was taken care of, clean and present. A pipowagen campsite run in its "own" way with attention to nature and the environment.De pipowagen lag op een fijne en rustige plek midden op de bloemenkwekerij, waar de natuur een stukje dichterbij voelt, de vogeltjes die ons s’morgens wekte met hun getrippel over het dak om van de bessen achter de pipowagen te snoepen, verderop het terrein een schaapje en hele gezellige kippen die ik kon aaien. Alles was verzorgd, schoon en aanwezig. Een pipowagen camping die op een “eigen” wijze wordt gerund met aandacht voor de natuur en milieu.

Stylish, well-kept circus wagon in nature

This house immediately feels like a vacation 'home' upon arrival. It is truly a cozy cottage, where you can enjoy nature and tranquility. The owners have really thought of everything in terms of furnishings and materials available, we did not miss a thing. We arrived in a clean house, the bed sleeps wonderfully and it is enjoyable without TV. We have not finished walking, so we will definitely come back!Dit vakantiehuis voelt bij aankomst meteen als een vakantie'thuis'. Het is echt een knus boshuisje, waar je kan genieten van de natuur en rust. De eigenaren hebben qua inboedel en aanwezige materialen werkelijk aan alles gedacht, we grepen nergens naast. We kwamen aan in een schoon huis, het bed slaapt heerlijk en het is genieten zonder TV. We zijn nog niet uitgewandeld, dus we komen zeker nog eens terug!

Luxury Pod in the middle of the forest

We enjoyed our stay in this B&B. Delicious breakfast in the room with all the trimmings. And of course we enjoyed the large bathroom with a nice bubble bath. The owners are very nice and we had a great time.We hebben heerlijk genoten in dit B&B. Heerlijk ontbijtje op de kamer gekregen met alles erop en eraan. En natuurlijk genoten van de grote badkamer met lekker bubbelbad. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig en we hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad.

Relax in this beautiful B&B

The view is of course the unique selling point here. Problem is that you can't see that when you sit on the couch or on the chairs, the windows are too high for that. Also the bathroom or bedroom has no view, because there the windows are blinded.... Interior is okay, but not very atmospheric. Everything is very clean and it remains a unique place to spend a night.Het uitzicht is hier natuurlijk het unique selling point. Probleem is dat je dat niet kan zien als je op de bank of op de stoelen zit, daarvoor zitten de ramen te hoog. Ook de badkamer of slaapkamer heeft geen uitzicht, want daar zijn de ramen geblindeerd... Inrichting is okay, maar niet heel erg sfeervol te noemen. Alles is wel heel netjes schoon en het blijft een unieke plek om een nachtje door te brengen.

Unique in Europe, a real VW Bus cabin

Okay apartment. Was mainly seduced by a beautiful picture of a very old facade. However, only that facade is still authentic. It is also completely new construction. That is a pity.Okay appartement. Werd vooral verleidt door een prachtig plaatje van een hele oude gevel. Echter alleen die gevel is nog authentiek. Het is verder compleet nieuwbouw. Dat is wel jammer.

Romantic wagon with luxury private spa

Very nice staff - at the reception , at the restaurant and in the store. Our safari tent was on a pond at the edge of the campsite. The private bathroom was worth its weight in gold especially with the bad weather we had - but there are plenty of bathroom facilities on the campsite too.Heel aardig personeel - aan de receptie , bij het restaurant en in de winkel. Onze safaritent lag aan een vijver aan het randje van de camping. Het eigen sanitair was goud waard zeker met het slechte weer dat we hadden - maar er zijn ook genoeg sanitaire voorzieningen op de camping.

Adventure camping in a safari tent

Especially the kids a cool experience. We were in winter, with some snow, and then it was really cold and drafty outside the bed.Vooral de kinderen een toffe ervaring. We waren in de winter, met wat sneeuw, en toen was het buiten het bed echt wel koud en tochtig.

Sleep in an old-fashioned train carriage

What a nice "loft" right on the water and in the city. Also the roof terrace is a nice place with nice weather.Wat een fijne "loft" direct aan het water en in de stad. Ook het dakterras is een lekkere plek met mooi weer.
