About this accommodation

The history of this little castle in Belgium dates back to 1866. A family of landowners had a spacious house built in the park. In 1920, the son of the first owner added two corner turrets and battlements to the house, giving it the beautiful appearance of a small castle.

As of March 2014, a small-scale bed & breakfast has been established in the inhabited castle.

The room has a total area of 15 m² and is stylishly decorated. You sleep on a double box spring and also have access to a seating area with a table, and a TV, and a private bathroom including toilet, sink and shower.

On the ground floor there is a breakfast room (also a reading room with TV) and billiards room available to guests. An infrared room has been installed in one of the two towers. During summer (1/06 - 30/09) you can use the covered and heated swimming pool in the garden, where you can enjoy an oasis of peace. The B&B is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

The B&B is situated in rural Doomkerke in a park of 1.5 ha, on the edge of a nature reserve with many walking and cycling routes. The art cities of Bruges (21 km) and Ghent (35 km) are easily accessible via the freeway and by train.
