Spend the night in an orangery with hot tub

This beautiful orangery with a wood stove and a hot tub is perfect for guests who want to relax. The orangery with the garden house belongs to a large country house in Bergen (NH) and is situated on 1500 m² of a private nature reserve with a forest, a meadow and lawn, and a surrounding view of a larger nature reserve. You have complete privacy and plenty of time to enjoy each other and the silence. The cottage is located 3km from the beach and sea!

The cottage with the orangery (70m2) is very spacious and fully equipped. You sleep on a king-size (canopy) bed, and you have a view all around. In the open kitchen, you have access to a refrigerator, nespresso machine, 2 hotplates and an oven. There is also a dining area and a fireplace. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower with massage heads. The greenhouse including a hammock, lounge sofa and Mediterranean plants is a very special place to relax or read a lovely book. The temperature is almost always pleasant in the greenhouse and if it gets too hot there, it's time to lounge outside on the terrace, in the orchard or under the trees. In early spring and fall, there is electric heating and you can use the fireplace. In winter, the cottage is not rented out. On the terrace, you will find a barbecue and a large dining table with a parasol.

To top it off, you have the possibility to use the large wooden hot tub. Enjoy a good glass of wine and watch the starry sky. The use of the hot tub costs 65 euros including firewood for 2 sessions.

The cottage is located at the foot of the dunes of Bergen Aan Zee, overlooking the forest and polders. Diagonally across the street is the entrance to the dune area where you can enjoy walking among the free-roaming Scottish Highlanders, herds of sheep and wild horses. The picturesque village of Bergen is four kilometers away and is a place for entertainment and fun, hospitality and geniality, tranquility and space, and also for art and culture. The historic Egmond aan de Hoef, the tulip village of Egmond Binnen and the coastal villages of Egmond and Bergen aan Zee are also close by. A little further north is Schoorl, a friendly village with the widest dunes in the Netherlands. And seven kilometers away is the old, fortified town of Alkmaar, known for its Friday cheese market on the old Waagplein, among other things.

The cottage is accessible via a private forest path (80 meters) from the yard, where you can park your car. For transportation of luggage, there is a wagon.

In low season, it is possible to rent the cottage for a midweek or a long weekend. In high season, the cottage can only be rented per week (from Friday to Friday).
