Delightful Tiny House with Hot-tub and Kelo-sauna

A stunningly beautiful tiny house with a porch and its own private hot tub. The garden faces south and gets plenty of sun. Near the tiny house is a small wellness area with a Finnish Kelo sauna that you’re welcome to use. This tiny house is situated on the grounds of an old farm, offering sweeping views of the meadows, the often stunning cloudy skies, and the still-dark starry night sky here. The city of Groningen is visible from the porch.

The Accommodation
This wooden tiny house is wonderfully comfortable and decorated in beautiful colors. On the sleeping loft, you’ll find a cozy bed and south-facing windows. The sleeping loft is located above the bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom features a composting toilet, a sink, and an enclosed shower stall. The kitchen is fully equipped. From the couch with its cozy cushions, you can enjoy views of the sunrise and the afternoon sun, as well as the dancing flames of the charming little wood-burning stove. If desired, you can book a delicious organic, locally sourced breakfast.

The Location and Surroundings
The ecologically managed property features a food forest, along with three safari tents available for rent and a vegetable garden. Here, we grow vegetables using purely natural methods. The old farmyard is surrounded by a traditional moat and features a beautiful vegetable garden and many old trees, such as our willow with a trunk circumference of over 4.5 meters. The farm is located in the Hogeland region of Groningen, close to the city of Groningen, the Reitdiep Valley, Middag-Humsterland, the Lauwersmeer area, and Schiermonnikoog. Mudflat walking, canoeing, and SUP tours are all available within a short distance. The surrounding area offers many lovely and excellent restaurants in all price ranges. If desired, you can rent bicycles on-site to explore the expansive surroundings.
