Luxury vacation home (6p) on the Veluwe

Tucked away among the trees and right in the heart of the Veluwe lies this beautiful holiday home. The holiday home is located in a cozy vacation park. Since the park is surrounded by nature, you’re guaranteed to completely unwind. From the vacation park, you can easily reach the center of Apeldoorn or explore the wildlife in De Hoge Veluwe National Park. There’s also plenty to do right at the vacation park, so you can fully enjoy a carefree holiday with the whole family.

The Accommodation
This modern and spacious home, with its contemporary interior, is fully accessible for disabled guests. This is evident in features such as the wide doorways, adapted bathroom facilities, and the overall spacious layout of the chalet. Furthermore, the home is all on one level and accommodates 6 people. The cozy living room features a seating area with a TV, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, induction cooktop, and filter coffee maker, among other amenities. There are 3 bedrooms in total, each with 2 single beds. The spacious bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a toilet, and a sink. There is also a separate toilet. The garden features a furnished patio. You can park one car at this chalet, and free Wi-Fi is available.

The Park
In case of bad weather, you can swim in the indoor pool, where the little ones can also have a great time in the separate children’s pool. Between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., you can swim laps in peace and quiet. For those who like to stay in shape, fitness equipment is available. You can also completely unwind in the wellness center, complete with a sauna and plunge pool. After your workout or relaxation session, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the cozy lounge behind the front desk. This is also where the kids’ club is located, where children can do crafts or play games. In the mood for some action? Challenge your friends to a game of table tennis or tennis on the all-weather court. The little ones can go on an adventure in the Kids Safari mini Land Rovers and explore the Veluwe’s nature, or let off steam on the air trampoline, swings, and climbing structures scattered throughout the park.

Worked up an appetite? Then head to the cozy park restaurant, where you can enjoy a drink, lunch, or dinner on the sunny terrace. The menu offers a wide selection of fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes. Prefer pizza? The 24-hour pizza kiosk next to the reception desk always has fresh pizzas ready. Start your day off right with fresh rolls from the roll service. For small groceries, visit the park store next to the front desk. Want to explore the area? You can rent bicycles, children’s bikes, or e-bikes at the front desk to explore the beautiful natural surroundings at your leisure.

Surroundings
Near the park lies the charming city of Apeldoorn, where you can enjoy plenty of fun day trips. Visit Apenheul for a unique encounter with free-roaming monkeys, delve into history at Paleis Het Loo, or enjoy a day full of fun at Julianatoren Amusement Park. For sports enthusiasts, there’s Omnisport, featuring a cycling track and an athletics track. In the surrounding area, you’ll discover beautiful nature and impressive castles, such as along the 8-Castle Route, where you can visit Vorden Castle. Be sure to take a walk to the Loenense Waterfalls, a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Nature lovers will be in their element in the nearby Veluwezoom and Hoge Veluwe National Parks, where you can hike through heathlands, forests, and sand drifts. The Hoge Veluwe National Park is also the largest park in the Netherlands and home to the famous Kröller-Müller Museum, which houses an impressive Van Gogh collection. For even more natural beauty, you can reach the Kootwijkerzand—the “Sahara of the Netherlands”—in just half an hour, where you can enjoy vast sandy plains.
