Beautiful cottage in green surroundings

Spend the night in this historic bakery: a beautiful place that has been converted into a romantic guest room. This guest room is in a special place in the ancient hamlet of Straten, surrounded by the most beautiful nature in the Netherlands. The accommodation is ideal for couples. In the bed on the mezzanine a child (up to 12 years) can sleep.

The guest room has an authentic and cozy atmosphere because of the old beams. It is the perfect accommodation if you want to get away from it all for a few days. You sleep on a spacious double bed and have access to a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is no stove, but there is a fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, TV and free Wi-Fi. The bakery also has a private garden and a terrace with a large picnic table.

It is also possible to use a wood-fired hot tub for 2 people (75 euros per day including wood) and an outdoor oven to prepare homemade pizzas or to barbecue on the grill (25 euros per day including wood). The hot tub and outdoor oven can be reserved on location after your booking. Please note that we try to accommodate as many guests as possible, but we only have a limited stock available.

Relax in nature
Surrounded by greenery on the beautiful green country estate, this is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. From the estate there are countless walking and cycling routes through the surrounding nature. The bakery is not only located in the middle of Het Groene Woud but also near nature reserve De Kampina and the Brabantse Kempen.

Enjoy history and friendliness
The cottage is also located near the charming and monumental village of Oirschot. The village has more than three hundred monuments, and is hence full of hidden gems; both around the Market, in Spoordonk or de Beerzen, and in the extensive countryside. Let narrow streets and two beautiful churches in the center, hidden culinary surprises and cultural secrets inspire you.
