Stay overnight in a monumental mill

This 120 year old mill in Friesland is available for a unique overnight stay! The mill, located in the middle of nature, has many authentic details that are combined creatively with modern colors and trendy furniture. From your bed, you can look through the unique glass ceiling at the wooden water wheel, which can be illuminated at night.

The mill is suitable as a vacation home for two people. The mill has a cozy living room with a sitting area, TV with Netflix and Amazon prime. The kitchen has an induction stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. In the bedroom you will find a very comfortable bed. The bathroom with a wonderful shower is small but modern, and has a great view over the meadows.

The mill is located in the middle of the nature reserve de Groene Ster, not far from Leeuwarden. It is surprising to find such a beautiful nature reserve so close to a city. If you like walking or cycling, you can go in all directions from the mill. Near the mill, you will also find a recreation area with a beach, where you can swim and sunbathe in summer.

Not far from the accommodation, there is a beautiful golf course and a miniature golf course. A must is the animal park Aqua Zoo. Within fifteen minutes you can be in the center of Leeuwarden where you can go shopping, enjoy a terrace, book a street art tour or take a trip through the canals.
