Luxury villa with designer bath at the Amstel

This special cottage is located in Amstelveen, a stone's throw from Amsterdam. The cottage overlooks the Amstel River and was built around the year 1700 as a residence for the workers of the adjacent gunpowder factory. Recently, the small workers' houses were completely transformed into special cottages with a unique atmosphere. The vacation home is luxurious and fully furnished and during your stay you will want for nothing.

The living room is very light through the high windows and equipped with a TV, a dining table with chairs and a spacious sofa which can be converted into a double sofa bed. Furthermore, the living room has an electric fireplace for those romantic evenings. The compact kitchenette is equipped with a 2-burner electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, crockery and kitchen utensils. The stairs lead to the second floor where you will find the bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200cm(. The bathroom is equipped with both a shower and a spacious designer bathtub. The bath was designed by industrial designer Marcel Wanders. At the entrance of the house, there is a cozy "Tête à Tête" garden bench, where you can enjoy the sun when the weather is nice.

Furthermore, in the house towels, bed linen, a hair dryer, makeup mirror, safe, iron and ironing board available. Of course, the wifi is free and there is the possibility to rent bikes on site.

- Amstelpark playground. Small "amusement park" and large playground. Free entrance!

- Do you fancy a day shopping or culture in Amsterdam? Within 20 minutes you are in the center
- The Johan Cruijff Arena, Ziggo Dome and AFAS Live are less than 10 minutes away by car / cab.
- Within twenty minutes by car / cab you are at Schiphol Airport.
- From the house you in over half an hour on the beach at the North Sea.

In short, this is the perfect base for a week full of fun, culture and relaxation in the Amsterdam region.
