Bridge keeper's house on the IJ - Amsterdam

This former bridge keeper's cottage has three floors overlooking the IJ River. After being taken out of service several years ago, the cottage has been converted into a special overnight accommodation in Amsterdam. During your stay, watch the boats passing you by and wander off into the panoramic view. The cottage is very conveniently located and so you are also right in the centre of Amsterdam.

The accommodation
During your stay, you will be provided with every convenience. There is a spacious double bed for a wonderful night's sleep. In the summer you can use the air conditioning and with the cold days, you can turn on the heating. There is also a small refrigerator and cutlery. You also have access to coffee and tea facilities and free wifi, among other things. Towels, slippers, shampoo and soap are included with this cottage. And of course, you will enjoy a unique view of the water during your stay.

The area
This accommodation is located within walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station (6 minutes). From your bedroom window, admire the acclaimed EYE film museum and the Palace of Justice, among others. Take a stroll to the nearby Haarlemmerstraat with some of the city's best stores, bars, restaurants and patisseries. The popular Noordermarkt, open on Saturdays and Mondays, is a paradise for organic food lovers and antique lovers. All just an 8-minute walk from the bridge house.
