Spend the night in a vintage folding caravan

Located in a beautiful, wooded area in Twente is the 1976 vintage Rapido folding caravan. A folding caravan is a caravan that can be folded, but unlike a folding trailer it has hard walls when unfolded. The caravan is all original and cosily decorated with retro stuff. This makes you feel like you are going back in time for 40 years. The caravan is located on a unique, welcoming estate campsite that borders a nature reserve.

The caravan is suitable for two people. With the original awning, it is nice to stay. It is fully equipped including a stove, coffee maker, kettle and crockery. There is even a tandem available for you to use during your stay. For the shower and toilet, you use the sanitary building on the campsite.

The campground consists of 300 acres of land with woods, heaths and a private swimming pond. Due to the natural environment, there are no defined places, but they are scattered through the forest. The campsite is equipped with sanitary facilities with floor heating, bicycle rental and wifi. There is even a bread service in high season. In bad weather, you can have fun in an old gazebo with games, heated with a wood stove. Parking is available at the campsite.

Surroundings
In the beautiful surroundings, there is plenty to do. You can go cycling and hiking. The campsite is located near the rivers Dinkel and Vechte. A visit to the castles of Singraven, Bad Bentheim and Haverzathe the Everlo are also worthwhile. Nearby are the Esdorpen, Tankenberg, Paasberg and Hakenberg. Pavilion 't Lutterzand and restaurant Florilympha are within walking distance. A day of shopping in Enschede is also a possibility. Lovers of culture and art will find what they are looking for in Ootmarsum. It is the oldest town in Twente and has many galleries and museums. A day at the zoo, an amusement park, canoeing, miniature golf or swimming nearby is also possible.
