Special yurt on cozy mini campsite

This beautiful yurt is located on a cosy mini campsite in the Dutch province of Drenthe. You walk straight from the yurt into the forest and the campsite is only 2 km from the center of Emmen. An ideal place for a weekend or short holiday.

The yurt
In the yurt there is a lovely double bed and a sofa bed with a good mattress, which can also be pulled out for an extra bed. In total you can stay here with 2 adults and 2 children. The beds are of course made upon arrival. There is a refrigerator, a nespresso machine and kettle. There is running water in the yurt. For cooking you can use the covered outdoor kitchen of the campsite. Here you will also find all the necessities for cooking. Upon arrival you get a basket with coffee, tea and kitchen linen. Also in winter it is good to stay in the yurt. There is a wood / pellet stove in the yurt to make it nice and warm. The first bag of pellets are ready in the yurt. Should you need more, there is the possibility to buy pellets or wood at the campsite.

Surroundings
Besides beautiful hiking and biking trails in the area, there is also plenty to do in Emmen and its surroundings. Visit one of the dolmens in the immediate vicinity, grab a terrace in the cosy center of Emmen or walk around the largest market in Drenthe on Friday. The Rensenpark, the former zoo has become a beautiful park with various attractions such as the center for visual arts, a Tibetan museum and sometimes an art exhibition outside. There are also play opportunities for children. To have something to drink or eat, you can then visit a real English tea house. And of course, the famous zoo Adventure Zoo Wildlands in Emmen is also well worth a visit.
