The 18th-century building was commissioned by Count and Countess Dhane-Steenhuyze as a winter palace. Later, the mansion was occupied by Mayor Minne-Barth (mayor of Ghent from 1837 to 1840). At the beginning of this century, the building was skilfully renovated by the current owners. In the exclusive bed and breakfast, you will find much of the original grandeur, but with a contemporary twist.
