Forest cottage on a beautiful estate

Escape to the serenity of the Drenthe countryside and find solace in this charming forest cottage, nestled on the edge of a picturesque estate. Designed for two people, this fully equipped cottage offers a cozy and intimate retreat, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. With its abundance of windows, doors, and a lovely veranda, you can truly embrace the surrounding landscape, enjoying breathtaking views of the meadows and the enchanting Drentsche Aa. Keep an eye out for the delightful Shetland ponies grazing in one of the nearby meadows, adding to the idyllic ambiance. The surrounding trees provide both shade and shelter, creating a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere.

The 'Tiny House' has a cosy atmosphere due to its small size. Yet, the accommodation is fully equipped. There is a TV, heating, a nice and clean toilet / shower, and a kitchen with many facilities. In the separate bedroom, there is a high double bed. In the kitchen, you can use a hot plate to prepare a meal or breakfast. The cottage is therefore also perfect for a slightly longer stay. Wi-Fi is available, too.

The cottage is part of an estate with a small-scale campsite. The campsite has a friendly character and a welcoming atmosphere. Personal attention to our guests is crucial to us! We decided not to situate the cottage directly on the campsite, but on the edge of the estate so you can optimally enjoy tranquillity and the surrounding nature.

The area surrounding the cottage offers an array of recreational opportunities. Explore the immediate vicinity of the estate on cycling or hiking adventures, immersing yourself in the beauty of the countryside. Additionally, there are numerous attractions and activities worth exploring in the area. Discover the wonders of Wildlands Zoo in Emmen, delve into history at the dolmen museum in Borger, or embark on an exhilarating treetop adventure at the tree top path in Gieten.

If you would like to go horseback riding in the area, there is the possibility to bring your own horse, which can graze in a meadow near the estate during your stay.
