Monumental water pumping house by a lake

Would you like to spend your vacation in a unique, monumental building in the newest recreation area in the Netherlands? This attractively restored water pumping station from 1921 at the Oldambtmeer is perfect the perfect opportunity!

The water house is suitable for 1-2 persons or for a family with 1 child.

The living room, kitchen and bathroom have underfloor heating. There is a comfortable, spacious 2-person sofa and a lovely armchair. Through the high windows with authentic bars, you have a great view of the water of the Oldambtmeer. The modern kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, coffee maker and kettle. The luxurious bathroom has a modern toilet, a sink with a mirror and a spacious walk-in shower with a glass wall.

On the upper floor, accessible by a safe staircase, there is a spacious bedroom with skylight windows equipped with blackout curtains and a fly screen. A spacious 2-person bed (180x200) with two lovely mattresses promises a good night's sleep. There is also a single bed (90x200) for a possible 3rd person. Through the two round windows, you have a view of the vast Oldambtmeer on one side, and on the other side you can see two monumental farmhouses and the elementary school.

On the terrace, there is a garden set with adjustable garden chairs including cushions and a parasol waiting for you. The terrace is shielded by a glass wall, so you can relax in this beautiful place even on a windy day.

In the spacious barn, there are two (city) bikes ready for you. Of course, you can also bring your own bikes. There is a charging point for electric bikes available.

In short, you are welcome to come and enjoy peace, quiet, and nature in this unique, historic place in the beautiful Groninger countryside.
