The ultimate treehouse experience

Who did not dream of living in a tree house as a child? A tree house that has every possible comfort. And yet enough adventure and challenge to explore the world. A beautiful estate in Drenthe hosts this fantastic tree house that makes these dreams come true.

This is one of the most beautiful and popular treehouses in the Netherlands, and many dates are therefore unfortunately already taken. For an overnight stay or weekend away, you often have to book far in advance.

The treehouse is located on an estate with a mini campsite. You can also go here if you have questions during your stay in the treehouse. There is enough privacy on the location. And on the adjoining camping grounds there are also some playing opportunities for children.

You can sleep with up to six people in this hut on stilts. There are two bedrooms. In the master bedroom there is a large double bed. In the adjacent children's room, there are two smaller beds. The living room has a sofa bed where two more people can sleep. The kitchen has a microwave and a dishwasher. The treehouse is well insulated and of course heated. On the second floor is the shower and toilet. There is also Wi-Fi internet and a TV in the treehouse.

From the treehouse you have an unobstructed view of the beautiful nature, the meadows and the stream Drentsche Aa. You can regularly see wild deer and rabbits in the fields in front of the hut. The many windows and doors, as well as the height, ensure that you always feel that nature is nearby.

Around the corner from the estate is the village of Rolde. In Rolde you can do your daily shopping. There is a bakery, butcher, greengrocer and a supermarket. More stores can be found in the cities of Assen and Groningen. Respectively 15 and 25 minutes away.

Drenthe offers plenty of opportunities for recreation. Cycling and walking can be done directly from the estate. But there are also many activities and attractions that are worthwhile. Think for example of Wildlands Zoo in Emmen, the Hune Bed Center in Borger and the Tree Top Path in Gieten.
