About this accommodation

Located in a quiet, sheltered spot in a wooded park in the province of Gelderland, this spacious wooden Finnish bungalow offers approximately 130 m² of living space. With enough space for 10 people, this is an ideal base for a cozy family getaway or a stay with friends. The home offers a cozy atmosphere, comfortable underfloor heating, and views of the surrounding nature reserve. After a day outdoors, you can relax in your own sauna on the upper floor. Up to two dogs are also welcome in this home.

The Accommodation
The house is nestled in a quiet spot among the trees. The large living room has plenty of space for enjoying meals together or relaxing. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, combination microwave, spacious refrigerator with freezer compartments, a filter coffee maker, and a Senseo machine. There is a washing machine in the downstairs bathroom, and the house has a total of three toilets (two on the ground floor and one in the upstairs bathroom).

On the ground floor, there are two spacious bedrooms, each with two single beds, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and sink. The upper floor has three cozy bedrooms with sloped walls, each also furnished with two single beds. Due to the sloped walls upstairs, the house is most comfortable for, say, 9 adults and 2 children. Upstairs, you’ll also find the second bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and a private sauna.

The Park
The house is situated in a well-maintained park adjacent to a nature reserve. Children can enjoy the playground equipment on the grounds, while you relax on your terrace. The wooded area, with its (fishing) ponds and streams, is home to plenty of wildlife. With a little luck, you might spot deer, rabbits, hares, woodpeckers, or birds of prey.

The Surroundings
The park is situated on the border of the Twente and Achterhoek regions. From the accommodation, you can easily walk or bike right into the characteristic bocage landscape. Follow the Geological Nature Trail on the Needse Berg, admire art at Museum MORE in Ruurlo, or visit the Crystal Museum in Borculo. For a family outing, the indoor theme park Bommelwereld and Slagharen Amusement Park are also within driving distance.
