Cozy cabin surrounded by nature

Tucked away in the rural border region between the Achterhoek and Twente, this wooden Finnish bungalow offers a wonderful place to recharge for up to 4 people. The cottage is located in a small-scale park that borders directly on a vast nature reserve. Here, you’ll wake up to the chirping of forest and songbirds, and you’ll regularly spot deer, rabbits, woodpeckers, or birds of prey from the porch.

The Accommodation
The log cabin is detached and entirely on one level. The spacious living room features a comfortable sitting and dining area, satellite TV, and wireless internet. Thanks to the large French doors, you can step right out from the living room onto the private patio to enjoy the fresh forest air outdoors. The practical open kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, a filter coffee maker, a Senseo, a combination microwave, and a spacious fridge-freezer. There is one bedroom with a double bed and two bedrooms with a single bed each. Comfortable comforters and pillows will be waiting for you upon arrival.

The park and the surrounding area
The bungalow is located in a small-scale park and has its own sheltered spot. There are various playground structures on the grounds for children. You’ll be staying in a protected nature reserve. The immediate surroundings feature a bocage landscape with forests, heathlands, ponds, and streams. Take a walk along the Geological Nature Trail on the Needse Berg, explore culture at Museum MORE in Ruurlo, or visit the Crystal Museum in Borculo. There’s also plenty of fun for families nearby, such as the indoor theme park Bommelwereld or Slagharen Amusement Park.
