About this accommodation
This luxurious two-person apartment is located in a stately building in the small, charming town of Lauscha, in the heart of the Thuringian Forest. The village of Lauscha is the birthplace of the Christmas ornament and is also home to Germany’s only glassblowing school. A special place where nature, craftsmanship, and tradition come together.
The Apartment
Here you can relax in a cozy and modern 65 m² apartment, right in the heart of Germany’s green countryside. Set out to explore the beautiful surroundings and then unwind in your spacious, comfortable apartment. The apartment has its own entrance and features two terraces: one with comfortable lounge chairs and one with a table and chairs. From every window, you can enjoy a stunning view of the green surroundings. The apartment has one bedroom with a king-size double bed, which is also freshly made upon arrival. The apartment also features a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, 4-burner induction cooktop, freezer, and refrigerator. You’ll also find a complete set of kitchenware. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. Towels and kitchen towels are provided for your use.
The apartment also offers excellent Wi-Fi (39 Mbps), a wired network connection, and a smart TV of at least 43 inches with a wide range of channels.
A free parking space is available. Please note: this may be located a short distance from the house. However, you can always unload your luggage right in front of the door. In case of heavy snowfall or if you’re hesitant to drive onto the street, we’ll be happy to help you carry your belongings to the apartment.
Surroundings
Thuringia is Germany’s most forested state and thus a true paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Breathe in the fresh forest air, put on your hiking boots, and explore the famous Rennsteig. This is also a fantastic area for cyclists and motorcyclists. You can take beautiful rides through the Thuringian countryside on a road bike or motorcycle. Mountain bikers will find plenty of challenging trails and forest routes. But Thuringia has more to offer than just nature. The state has a rich history and was home to many famous German artists and cultural luminaries. You’ll find beautiful historical towns, architectural gems, castles, and fortresses. There’s plenty to do in the winter, too. Visit charming Christmas markets in the area or enjoy the many opportunities for downhill and cross-country skiing.

Omgeving
