Beautiful wooden bungalow in the forest

This special vacation home in Drenthe has a unique design. The wooden vacation home blends in with the wooded environment and is an ode to cycling. Something which Drenthe is known for. The vacation home is situated on a camping/vacation park with lots of facilities including a restaurant, swimming pool and, of course, a bicycle rental. There are numerous beautiful cycling routes in the vicinity.

This beautiful semi-detached cottage is suitable for 6 persons and has high-quality amenities to make you as comfortable as possible. The cottage has 3 sleeping areas. There is a bedroom with a bunk bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a loft with a double bed. Good to know: the sleeping area with the double bed is only accessible via a steep staircase. Furthermore, there is a kitchen in the cottage which includes a stove, dishwasher, kitchen utensils and fridge freezer. The modern bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. Outside you can enjoy the healthy forest air on the terrace or relax to the sounds of chirping birds and crackling leaves.

The campsite
The campsite has all the necessary ingredients for a successful and well-deserved vacation. The children can enjoy the large playground, a play room, and a canteen with a library and games to play inside when the weather is not so good. In addition, the park has a cozy restaurant, snack bar, small camp store, and it is possible to get freshly baked rolls and a newspaper every morning. Would you like to explore the surroundings? Then you can rent bikes at the campsite.

Swimming pool
The campsite has its own swimming pool with a sliding roof. This allows you to swim indoors in bad weather, but you can enjoy a lovely outdoor pool with sunbathing area in good weather. The pool is heated to 29 degrees in both summer and winter.

The surroundings
In addition to the beautiful cycling and walking routes you can explore in Drenthe, there is much more to see and experience. For example, visit the prison museum in Veenhuizen, the dolmen museum in Borger, the theme park Nienoord (up to +/- 8 years) with a large child-friendly playground and a petting zoo, or the climbing forest in Grolloo. Would you prefer a day of shopping or relaxing on a lovely terrace? Then Assen (10 minutes) and Groningen (30 minutes) are easily accessible from the campsite.
