The Location
The cottage is located on an estate in one of the most beautiful areas of Drenthe! Surrounded by majestic beech, oak, and pine trees, a forest path leads you to a beautiful and surprising open space.

Surroundings
From the estate, you can walk or bike right into Drenthe’s beautiful natural surroundings. Countless hiking and biking trails are located near the estate. The charming town of Westerbork is about 1 km away. Here you’ll find restaurants, outdoor cafes, charming shops, as well as supermarkets, bakeries, and cafeterias. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to Emmen. A visit to Wildlands Zoo is definitely worth it. The treetop walk (15 km) is also a fun experience.
