Lodge with a sauna on the waterfront

This luxury lodge is located right on the banks of the Vecht River in Overijssel. The lodge can accommodate 2 to 4 people and features a private sauna. The property is situated in a small-scale vacation park and is ideal for both a romantic getaway for two and a weekend trip with friends. Outside, you’ll find a private terrace right on the Vecht. It’s a place where you can enjoy breakfast, read, or linger over a meal together in peace, with a view of the water. On warm days, you can easily take a refreshing dip in the Vecht River, right from your own front yard. 

The Accommodation
This lodge is situated on a spacious lot right on the water, offering plenty of space, privacy, and unobstructed views of the Vecht. Here, there’s no hustle and bustle or passersby—just nature, water, and silence. The lodge is designed for 2 to 4 guests who appreciate comfort and quality. Two quiet, stylishly furnished bedrooms offer space to truly unwind. The interior combines modern design with natural materials and an understated aesthetic. Everything has been carefully selected and finished with attention to detail. The living area forms the centerpiece of the lodge. Large windows let in plenty of light and connect the interior with the landscape along the Vecht. Adjacent to it is a fully equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances. Whether you want to cook an elaborate meal or simply dine together, everything is provided to make your stay comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and designed with a sense of calm, featuring a generous walk-in shower. The toilet is separate. The layout is practical and well-thought-out, ensuring that comfort and convenience come naturally.

Garden with Sauna
The view from the garden changes with the rhythm of the day: the calm water in the morning, passing boats on the Vecht in the afternoon, and the soft light over the river in the evening. Across the Vecht, the landscape stretches out peacefully. In the garden, you’ll find your own wellness facilities, carefully integrated into the natural surroundings. The sauna offers a place to relax both body and mind: private, quiet, and entirely at your disposal. Outside, the outdoor shower provides a refreshing moment in the open air, surrounded by greenery and open space.

The Park
You’ll be staying at a small-scale, new vacation park that’s still under development. The park offers a number of practical services to make your stay comfortable. There’s a brasserie where you can enjoy lunch, dinner, or a drink. You can also take advantage of the breakfast service featuring fresh bread from the local bakery, and e-bikes are available for rent to explore the surrounding area.

Good to know: A swimming pool is currently under construction at the park. Although the main pool won’t be ready for a while yet, the little ones can already splash around to their heart’s content in the existing toddler pool.

The Surroundings
The Vecht River winds its way through a varied landscape of forests and meadows here. An extensive network of hiking and biking trails starts right from the park, with routes along the waterfront or toward larger nature reserves in the region. In addition to canoeing, boating, or taking a dip in the river, the area also offers culture and history. The charming fortified town of Ommen and nearby Dalfsen are just a short distance away, and the Hanseatic city of Zwolle is also easily accessible for those seeking the hustle and bustle of the city.
