Beautiful forest chalet

This house was built in the 1920s by a forester. Many small details tell the story of the house, its builder, and its guests.

The chalet is located just above the village of Champfèr, nestled in a light mountain forest. The view over the Upper Engadin lake landscape is enchanting. Guests can enjoy the garden with its private barbecue area. The house contains two holiday apartments, each with a separate entrance under one roof. The apartments are lovingly furnished and carefully maintained. Most of the furniture is made of solid Swiss pine.

The ground floor apartment accommodates 4 people. It includes two double bedrooms, a living room with a tiled stove, a bathroom, a separate shower, a separate toilet, a kitchen with a dining area, a spacious hallway, and direct access to the garden and terrace.

These mountains. These lakes. This light! With 580 km of hiking trails and 400 km of mountain biking routes, the Upper Engadin offers an extensive network through pristine alpine landscapes and an inspiring lake region. The three flow trails on Corviglia provide extra fun for mountain bikers.

The lakes also offer plenty of water sports: kite surfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling – the options are endless. The two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz let you enjoy the vastness of the high alpine valley.

In addition to sports, the region offers cultural highlights with museums and art galleries in the surrounding villages.

In winter:
350 km of perfectly groomed slopes in Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and the family-friendly Zuoz provide true ski and snowboard pleasure. Cross-country skiers can enjoy over 220 km of trails.

Winter hiking paths and cross-country routes across the frozen lakes sparkle with sunlight and space. If you're seeking peace, walk through snowy forests into the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever. For breathtaking views, take the panoramic paths high above the lakes around Muottas Muragl.

Families enjoy the sun on a horse-drawn sleigh ride to Val Roseg or Val Fex or toboggan 4.2 km down the winding Muottas Muragl sledding run.
