This luxurious holiday home for 4 people offers an oasis of peace and comfort in the heart of Drenthe. Located right by the water on a beautiful holiday resort, it provides the perfect base for a relaxing stay. On and around the resort you’ll find plenty of facilities, including a playground for children and a lovely restaurant in the nearby holiday park. With so many activities available, no one will get bored here. And if you’d like to explore, you can visit historic nearby villages or venture into the unspoiled nature of Drenthe.

The Accommodation
The holiday home accommodates up to 4 people and has a living area of approximately 71 m². The stylish living room features a cosy sitting area with a smart TV and streaming options, a dining area, and a modern open kitchen equipped with a combination oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, filter coffee maker, fridge with freezer compartment, and kettle. There are two spacious bedrooms, each with two comfortable single beds and a private en-suite bathroom. One bathroom includes a sauna, bathtub, walk-in shower, washbasin, and toilet, while the other has a walk-in shower and washbasin. There is also a separate toilet. French doors open onto the private garden with outdoor furniture and a firepit. A private parking space is available right next to the house, and free Wi-Fi is included during your stay.

The Resort
This new and modern holiday resort offers plenty to do for guests of all ages. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed at the reception in the main building, where you can also get local information and tips. Here you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or relax on the sunny outdoor terrace with a cold drink. A handy mini-market is available on site for daily groceries, and business travellers can make use of the modern meeting facilities. If you want to explore the beautiful surroundings, you can easily rent a bicycle directly at the resort.

The Surroundings
The surrounding area is a true paradise for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Step right outside and you’ll find yourself in the middle of the vast forests and heathlands of the UNESCO Global Geopark De Hondsrug. This special area is home to three National Parks, perfect for hiking or cycling through beautiful, unspoiled landscapes. Just a short distance from the resort lies the stunning recreational lake ’t Nije Hemelriek, with its white sandy beach, turquoise-blue water, and surrounding woods — the ideal spot for a relaxing summer day. Children can play freely on the nearby playground, or you can visit the Gasselterveld and the spectacular DX Adventure Park, the largest open-water park in the Netherlands.

For those who love culture and history, there’s plenty to discover in the nearby villages, where you’ll find historic farmhouses, charming streets, and that unique Drenthe atmosphere that can’t be found anywhere else.
