High above the harbour mouth of 'IJmuiden', on the dune of the lighthouse, you will find this unique one-bedroom hotel with a stunning view of the sea, beach and piers.

For decades, this signal post has ensured that ships could safely reach the port and locks of 'IJmuiden', the entrance to the port of Amsterdam. After years of loyal service, the lighthouse became obsolete.

Recently, this iconic building began its second life! The accommodation now offers a unique overnight stay that you will remember for a long time. Upon entering the building, all the daily stress will be relieved, and you will find yourself in an oasis of peace, romance and serenity. Sit back and enjoy the passing fishing and freight ships and the activity of the harbour, combined with the pure beauty of nature, the dunes, the beach, the marina and the sea over which you have an immaculate view. In the evening, enjoy the setting sun and later a magnificent spectacle of swaying lights on the water.

You book a one-room hotel (40m2), consisting of the following rooms: living room with open kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, toilet. Furthermore, there is a hammock for two people, television, radio, air conditioning and a spacious balcony.
