Forest cabin with beautiful view

This beautiful spacious 2 person (detached) forest cabin in Drenthe is fully equipped, with private forest garden (1000m2) on the edge of the forest overlooking the farmlands. Lovely in the quiet. What a view. You can hear the birds singing and enjoy pure nature. Here it is still really quiet and in the evening really dark, but when the moon shines, you can see it through the trees. An experience with nice weather, but certainly also with wind and rain. Also the squirrel shows itself and flies from one tree to another. At night you can hear owls calling and badgers leaving their lodges in search of food. The large windows throughout the cottage make for an unforgettable experience.

This forest cabin is ideal for, peace seekers, seniors, cyclists and hikers, to fully enjoy the Silence, Tranquility, Privacy and Comfort. Also suitable for guests with dust allergy.

Bicycles can be stored indoors.

The forest cabin is located on a cycling route and there are 2 E-bikes available for you (to be booked on site).

Included; Final cleaning, firewood, bed-bath-and kitchen linen, Nespresso + cups, tea, sugar, milk, spices, oil, vinegar, shampoo, soap and toilet paper. Everything is amply provided for your entire stay.

In addition, during your stay you will receive a discount (7.50 euro p.p.) at Sauna Spabron in Oosterhesselen (15 min drive).

All you have to do is pack your bags and do the shopping for dinner or go out for a delicious meal. Your hostess has already arranged everything else for you. You are most welcome!

This forest cabin is located in the middle of the province, the "old Drenthe", and is characterized by bog villages, heaths and stream valleys where sheep herds can still regularly be seen. With no less than three National Parks; Dwingelderveld, Drents-Friese Wold and Drentsche Aa. Beautiful nature reserves; Mantingerveld with its juniper heath and sand drifts, Landgoed Vossenberg where you will encounter Scottish Highlanders, forestry Echten, Gasselte and the Reest valley. Also the beaches of the Blauwe Meer and Ieberenplas are beautiful natural areas to explore.

Drentse brink villages are very worthwhile; Dwingeloo, Lhee, Diever, Westerbork, Borger. Discover the beautiful Museum Village of Orvelte and rest at one of the cozy restaurants in the beautiful museum village. Orvelte is a world unto itself. Its open and rural character has remained unchanged and pure for centuries. The Brink, historical trees and the beautiful ash trees surrounding the museum village show Drenthe at its most beautiful.

In the summer months there are many markets and events, such as the famous Thursday Meppel Day, the Pulled Days in Hoogeveen, the weekly Butterfly Market in Emmen, the Harvest Day in Lhee and the many folklore markets. Also antique and brocante lovers can indulge themselves in Drenthe, there are many nice shopping addresses and regular brocante markets. There are many restaurants, something for everyone: from pancake to star restaurant. Interesting museums and several outdoor museums.
