Cozy pod in the forests of Drenthe

This pod for 2 is in a fairytale location, literally among the flora and fauna. You wake up in peace to the sound of chirping birds. Slam the doors open and be overcome by the wonderful smell of the forest. The pod can be found in a cosy family campground. The campsite is located in the middle of the woods and is surrounded by very, very much nature. For example, the adjacent Drents-Friese Wold National Park is with 6,000 hectares, the largest National Park in Drenthe.

The accommodation
This pod has two single beds (made up on arrival), a Senseo machine, a terrace with garden furniture and heating by infrared panels. The pod can therefore be booked all year round. Furthermore, in the pod you make free use of wifi and it is possibly possible to bring a dog. For the toilet and showers, you can use the modern sanitary building of the campsite.

The campsite
During your stay you can use various facilities to make your vacation complete. For example, at the campsite you will find a bicycle and go-kart rental, a nice playground for children, in high season a store for sandwiches and during the vacations a recreational program. The campsite is about 1 km from the village where you can find a supermarket (when the campsite store is closed).

Surroundings
In the surroundings of the campground, you can make great cycling and hiking trips. In some areas you can still find free roaming Scottish Highlanders, impressive cows that are beautiful to see. The possibilities for a day out in Drenthe are also endless. For example, visit the Hunebedcentrum in Borger (40 min), Wildlands zoo in Emmen (45 min) or the Boomkroonpad in Drouwen (50 min). Giethoorn (the Venice of the North) is also within driving distance (30 min). Rent a whisper boat here and discover this historic village from the water.
