Studio (4p) on a former farmhouse

In the middle of beautiful Limburg you will find this cozy vacation studio that invites you to come to yourself for a while. The accommodation can be found on a former farmstead that has now been converted into a place with several beautiful accommodation options. Surrounded by vast fields and flowering orchards, it is the ideal place for nature lovers. The grounds themselves offer plenty of entertainment, including an animal pasture, a playground and many other facilities. Nearby, you can enjoy hiking through the peaceful countryside or visit the charming nearby towns, where culture and history come alive.

The holiday home
The cozy studio can accommodate up to 4 adults or 6 people and is perfect for a relaxing stay. Inside, you'll find a comfortable living area with a digital TV, including YouTube and Netflix, and a spacious 4-person sofa overlooking the charming cherry meadow. The well-equipped kitchen includes an oven, stove, microwave, fridge-freezer and kettle. Upstairs there are two single beds, downstairs a double bed and a convenient sofa bed for two additional guests. In the bathroom you will find a walk-in shower, a separate sink and there is also a separate toilet. There is also a washing machine. The furnished terrace invites you to enjoy the peace and quiet, with comfortable lounge chairs, a picnic bench and a dining area for four.

In the common room, you can enjoy various gaming options, including dartboard, table soccer, an arcade game console and board games. Outside, there is a screened-in playground where little ones can swing, jump the trampoline or slide down the slide. For parents, there is a sun terrace to relax. On the farm there are cute animals such as alpacas, chickens, rabbits and pigs with piglets, and you can also spot sheep, lambs and donkeys in the surrounding pastures. Between 9 and 10 a.m. you can help feed the animals. There is a covered common terrace with a BBQ and a pizza oven, ideal for a cozy meal. And for the real outdoor lovers, there is a campfire area for cozy evenings or you can use a fire bowl at your accommodation. Wood can be brought with you or bought here. For a fee you can use the barrel sauna and outdoor shower. Pamper yourself and take a sauna turn, it costs 50€/session. The hot tub can only be used if you have also booked this house. It is wood-fired and you have to heat it yourself (takes 2 to 3 hours).

The Area
One of the highlights in the village is the impressive 14th century castle. Although the castle is dilapidated today, it still exudes a special historical charm and is located in beautiful surroundings. Just 10 kilometers away you can visit the historical Earls' town, located in the heart of Haspengouw, the beautiful fruit region. Here you can enjoy walks through vast orchards and the picturesque landscape. The Haspengouw region also lends itself perfectly to bicycle tours thanks to the extensive network of bicycle junctions. In addition, just 15 kilometers away is the oldest city in Belgium, Tongeren. Here you can visit the Gallo-Roman Museum, where you get a fascinating insight into the life of man in Belgian Limburg, from prehistory to the Roman era. 18 kilometers away you will find the charming town of Zoutleeuw, known for its historical buildings and picturesque spots.
