Holiday Home in a Beautiful Natural Setting

Tucked away among the green forests and right in the heart of the Veluwe lies this beautiful holiday home. The holiday home is located in a cozy vacation park near a nature reserve. Since the park is surrounded by nature, you’re guaranteed to completely unwind. From the vacation park, you can easily reach the center of Apeldoorn or other fun destinations. The vacation park also offers plenty to do for all ages.

The Accommodation
This home is beautifully situated in the heart of nature, and you’ll reach the entrance via a path. Upon entering, you’ll pass through a hallway into the living room. The living room is bright and spacious, featuring a cozy sitting area with a TV, a dining area, and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a combination microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, filter coffee maker, coffee pod machine, and electric kettle. There are 3 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a shower stall and sink, and there is a separate toilet. Outside, you can relax among the trees on the beautiful patio with outdoor furniture, and there is parking for 1 car at the vacation home.

The Park
The vacation park features an indoor swimming pool, where even the little ones can have a great time in the separate children’s pool. Between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., you can swim laps in peace and quiet. For those who like to stay in shape, fitness equipment is available. You can also completely unwind in the wellness center, complete with a sauna and plunge pool. After your workout or relaxation session, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the cozy lounge behind the front desk. In the mood for some action? Challenge your friends to a game of table tennis or tennis on the all-weather court. The little ones can go on an adventure with the Kids Safari to discover the nature of the Veluwe, or let off steam on the air trampoline, swings, and climbing structures scattered throughout the park. The Kids Club is also located at the front desk, where they can play games indoors and enjoy arts and crafts.

Worked up an appetite? Then head to the cozy park restaurant, where you can enjoy a drink, lunch, or dinner on the sunny terrace. The menu offers a wide selection of fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes. Prefer pizza? The 24-hour pizza kiosk next to the front desk always has fresh pizzas ready. Start your day off right with fresh rolls from the roll service. For small groceries, stop by the park store next to the front desk. Want to explore the area? At the front desk, you can rent bicycles, children’s bikes, or e-bikes to explore the beautiful natural surroundings at your own pace.

Surroundings
There’s plenty to do for the whole family in the area surrounding the vacation park. For example, the charming city of Apeldoorn is nearby, where you can walk among the monkeys at Apenheul, visit Paleis het Loo, or enjoy plenty of adventures at Julianatoren Amusement Park. Apeldoorn is also home to Omnisport, which features a velodrome and an athletic track. Impressive castles sometimes dot the landscape near the park. If you bike the popular 8 Castles Route, you’ll pass Vorden Castle, where you can also take a look inside. From the vacation park, it’s just a short walk to the Loenense Waterfalls. Plus, nearby you’ll find national parks like Veluwezoom National Park and De Hoge Veluwe National Park, where you can wander across vast heathlands, through the woods, and over sand dunes. De Hoge Veluwe National Park is not only the largest national park in the Netherlands; the Kröller-Müller Museum is also located right in the middle of the park. The museum houses the second-largest Van Gogh collection in the world. In just half an hour, you can also find yourself in the “Sahara of the Low Countries,” Kootwijkerzand.
