Located in an enchanted foresty area with peace, greenery and sunshine, this one-bedroom chalet offers a charming getaway for 3 guests! The chalet is ideal for a vacation any time of the year and has a cosy fireplace and stunning panoramic views of the green Umbrian landscape. Outside, guests will find a private pool perfect for summertime relaxation, alongside open-air dining and a rustic BBQ. Inside, the chalet offers traditional interiors with exposed-beam ceilings and terracotta floors. There is a full kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge and oven, for a totally carefree self-catering vacation. Indoor dining is also available, along with a Smart TV.
Guests can enjoy an organic vegetable garden and fresh eggs from the chicken coop. For something unique and interesting, you can also ask the owner to show you his laboratory where he builds and restores furniture using recycled wood from antique furniture and other structures!
Parking is inside the property, in front of the chalet.

The holiday apartment is located in the unspoilt medieval town of Baschi, perfect to spend a relaxing holiday. It is just a 20-minute drive from Lago di Corbara where you can spot herons and other rare species. In Baschi, worth visiting are the 16th-century church San Nicolò, the sanctuary of Santa Maria della Pasqua Rella and the Town Hall, which houses the Antiquarium. Another medieval town of San Venanzo, home to the unique Volcano Park and museum, is a 50-minute drive away, meanwhile, Orvieto, with its stunning Duomo is also about the same distance. At Orvieto, you can also check out the unusual underground labyrinthine grottoes!
For lovers of nature, day trips to Meana Forest just outside of Orvieto are a must. Umbria is also a renowned paradise for walkers! Perugia and Terni are about 45-50 minutes’ drive away, and Florence and Rome are about 2 hours' drive from this Umbrian retreat. The nearest international airport is in Florence. Please note that the pool is open from the 20th of May 2024 to the 30th of September 2024
