Cottage with luxury bath & view on the Amstel

More than 300 years ago, this cottage was the home of workers working at the adjacent gunpowder factory. The factory existed until 1990. The workers' cottage has recently been transformed into a special vacation home with luxurious accommodation. The cottage is located directly on the Amstel River and a stone's throw from Amsterdam.

Because of the high ceilings and many windows, the living room is very light. From the living room, you also have a view over the Amstel River. The living room has a 4-seater sofa which can be converted to a sofa bed for 2 persons. In the living room you will also find a TV, dining table, electric fireplace and a rattan hanging chair. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-burner electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, crockery and kitchen utensils. On the second floor is the bedroom with king-size bed 180x200cm. In the bathroom you can enjoy a generous design bathtub by industrial designer Marcel Wanders, a shower, toilet and sink. At the entrance of the house, there is a cozy "Tête à Tête" garden bench.

Included are: towels and bed linen, a hair dryer, makeup mirror, safe, iron and ironing board. Of course the wifi is free and there is the possibility to rent bikes on site.

- Enjoy high quality lunch or dinner at the neighbors of the 'Kruidfabriek'.
- Step off at one of the large and famous terraces on the Amstel. in the beautiful and authentic Ouderkerk.
- Fun and lots of green at the adjacent play farm in the Elsenhove park and recreation area
- Amstelpark playground. Small "amusement park" and large playground. Free entrance!
- Rent a boat and sail from the dock in front of the door to the historic city center of Amsterdam
- Do you fancy a day of shopping or culture in Amsterdam? Within 20 minutes you are in the center
- The Johan Cruijff Arena, Ziggo Dome and AFAS Live are less than 10 minutes away by car / cab.
- Within twenty minutes by car / cab you are at Schiphol Airport.
- From the house you in over half an hour on the beach at the North Sea.

In short, this is the perfect base for a week full of fun, culture and relaxation in the Amsterdam region.
