Tiny house (4p) on an island

This charming 4-person holiday home can be found on the beautiful South Holland island of Goeree-Overflakkee. The island, which is the third largest in the Netherlands, is known for its beautiful beaches, quaint villages and fine atmosphere! The cottage can be found in a vacation park within walking distance of the beach. It is therefore the ideal vacation destination for beach lovers. Just a stone's throw from the vacation park you will discover the breathtaking beaches of Ouddorp aan Zee. The Grevelingenmeer, various nature reserves and the Brouwersdam are also close to the vacation park. For the kids, this is a true paradise! With play facilities that provide vibrant fun and a recreation team bursting with energy, there is never a dull moment. While the little ones romp around, parents can enjoy well-deserved rest and relaxation.

The accommodation
Upon seeing the vacation rental, you immediately notice the large windows, giving the house an open and inviting feel. Step into the cosy living room that offers a nice panoramic view of the outside through the large sliding doors. The eye-catcher of this vacation home is undoubtedly the spacious lounge sofa, where you can relax with a good book and a glass of wine. In the beautifully equipped kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, including a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, combi microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. The (master) bedroom is very spacious and has a wonderfully comfortable double bed that can easily be closed off from the living area with the curtain. For extra sleeping space there is a sleeping loft with two single beds, accessible via a steep staircase. Please note that due to the steep stairs and furnishings, the sleeping loft is not suitable for children under the age of five. The bathroom offers everything you need with a toilet, sink and a refreshing rain shower. For cooling during hot days, the vacation rental is equipped with an air cooler.

The vacation park
At this family park you will find many facilities so you will not be bored. The kids will not be bored for a moment thanks to the numerous play opportunities. From an exciting agility course of up to 30 meters long to baby swings and climbing equipment with excavators for the little ones. You will also find several playgrounds scattered throughout the park with an air trampoline, cross-country track and a skate track. There is an enthusiastic and professional recreation team waiting for you at the park. The animation team organizes fun activities for the whole family. In the bistro, which is attractively furnished and features a large terrace with a fantastic view of the swimming pond, you can enjoy a drink. The bistro also offers a takeway where you can order snacks and pizzas. Here you will also find sandwich services. And what about the unique natural swimming pond? The swimming water contains no chlorine or other chemicals, but is naturally purified by the many plants lining the pond. Thanks to the UV filter system, the water stays clean and clear. The water is unheated and there are three basins with different depths. Take a refreshing dip in one of the three different depths and then relax in the cosy barrel sauna located near the swimming pond.

The area
Ouddorp and Goeree-Overflakkee are known for their beautiful beaches. During your holiday, the water is therefore always within reach. Take a beach walk, go on an excursion and spot various sea creatures or find a quiet spot for fishing. But there is also plenty to discover inland. Hop on your bike towards Goedereede, Stellendam or Burgh-Haamstede and be surprised by the charming streets and cosy terraces. Also highly recommended is Faunapark Flakkee, which once began as a bird park but has grown into an animal park. In the nature-rich park you can see many animals such as birds, alpacas, beavers, deer, kangaroos, squirrels, swamp cats and much more.
