Nature cottage in Drenthe

This cosy forest cabin is a stay for true nature lovers. From the two-person cottage, you are directly located to several hiking and biking trails in the area. Prefer a day at the beach? That is possible nearby at the beach Nijstad, a lake and recreation area near Hoogeveen. Upon returning from an enjoyable day, you can relax on your own terrace with a snack and a drink. This forest cabin can be found on a cosy family campsite in a wooded area.

The accommodation
The holiday home is fully equipped for a two-person stay so you can really get away from it all (with or without the dog). The cottage includes a double bed, kitchen (including stove, microwave and refrigerator), living room and private bathroom. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your terrace.

The campsite
On the campsite you will undoubtedly feel right at home. For children there is a swimming pool at the campsite in Drenthe which is always a great success (open from April and in summer). The campsite also has wifi coverage everywhere. There is a restaurant at the park with a terrace and a takeaway along the forest path for coffee, tea, ice cream and small snacks.

Surroundings
From the nature cottage, you can easily make trips to a large number of attractions and sights throughout the province of Overijssel and Drenthe. In the immediate vicinity, you can make excellent walks and bike tours, but there are also several villages and towns nearby that are worth a visit. Places like Giethoorn, Hoogeveen, Meppel and Staphorst are a short distance away, but also cities like Almelo, Assen and Zwolle are easily accessible from the campsite. Less than 1.5 km from the cottage is a beautiful large swimming lake with beach. There is much to do here including sub and canoe rentals and you can take diving lessons. Just outside the village is a nice sauna complex with a swimming pool, restaurant and a stalactite cave sauna.
