Wellness vacation home by a river

Are you looking for a special vacation home for 2 people? Then this cottage near Amsterdam and right by the Amstel River is the perfect location. The house is over 300 years old and was built as a residence for the workers of the adjacent gunpowder factory. When the factory closed in 1990, the buildings were transformed into offices, a restaurant and luxury vacation homes.

On the first floor of the vacation home is the living room. Because of the high ceilings and many windows, the living room is very light. From the living room you have a view over the Amstel River. The living room has a lovely sofa, a TV, a dining table, an electric fireplace, a rattan hammock and a kitchenette. The kitchenette contains: 2-burner electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, crockery and kitchen utensils.

On the second floor you will find the bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a designer bathtub from the famous Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, a sauna and a sink. On the second floor is the bedroom in a romantic bedstead with a king size bed (180x200cm(. In front of the entrance to the house is a cozy "Tête à Tête" garden bench.

Included: free wifi, towels and bed linen, hair dryer, make-up mirror, safe, iron and ironing board. It is possible to reserve a crib and high chair on request.

Good to know: the vacation home is very conveniently located, at the Amstel river and close to the A9. Because the vacation home is near the A9, the freeway can be heard (e.g. with the windows open, there is also air conditioning for a pleasant temperature).
