Cabin in the woods with private sauna

This beautiful forest cabin is the ideal base for hiking vacations or adventurous holidays with friends or family. Put on your hiking boots and head out into the beautiful surroundings of Hoge Kempen National Park and the Bergerven nature reserve in northern Belgium. This forest lodge can be found on a beautifully situated vacation park in the middle of nature. Do you want to completely unwind during your holiday? Then go relax in your own sauna cottage!

The accommodation
This holiday home for 4 people has a cosy living area with a standard kitchenette. Enjoy the view through the large window and warm yourself at the cosy wood stove. There is a starter pack for the wood stove, extra wood you can chop yourself at the wood corner. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove (2 burners), a sink and plenty of cooking utensils, cutlery and glasses. Can't do without your daily coffee break? Then our Bialetti will certainly help you. Don't forget to bring your ground coffee. The tap water is drinkable. Detergent and a cleaning kit, including a kitchen towel, are available. In the kitchenette you can find a small refrigerator. Furthermore, there are 2 double beds. The first bed connects directly to the living area, creating an open space. The second bed can be reached by stairs and is located separately on the 1st floor. Bed linen is provided as standard. The compact bathroom is equipped with a shower stall, toilet, bathroom cabinet and an electric heater. A towel set is included in the price. The cabin is also equipped with a covered terrace and a gas barbecue. As a bonus, this accommodation has a private sauna hut. A hamam towel to lie on or wrap around you is provided. A bathrobe is not included, but feel free to rent your own from the front desk staff.

The park
The vacation park is located in the middle of Belgian nature. There is plenty to do here for young and old. On a summer day, you can enjoy paddling in the pond with beach. For a fee you can also use the wellness, miniature golf course, bike rental and climbing park. The park also offers some options for meals, such as a breakfast package, picnic basket or barbecue package. These packages can be reserved at the reception desk.

Surroundings.
The park is about a 30-minute drive from the Dutch city of Maastricht. You can further make beautiful cycling and hiking trips in the area. It is also possible to kayak nearby in the canal and then eat or drink something tasty on the island. Do you like adventure and dare to endure obstacles at great heights? Then be sure to visit the Klimpark. Here you can push your limits together with family, friends or colleagues.
