Spend the night in Zwolle's water tower

This iconic water tower in the city of Zwolle (Overijssel) was built in 1932. After the water tower was decommissioned in the 1980s, the tower was converted into a boutique hotel with a restaurant.

The rooms
The small-scale hotel has a total of 16 (same) luxury rooms with insane views of the surroundings. The glass elevator that takes you to the floor of your room also provides a unique experience. The rooms can accommodate 2 people and are approximately 28m2 in size. The rooms all have a private bathroom with a shower and a double bathtub. The water tower has a 24-hour reception, free wifi and many extra luxuries in the hotel room.

The hotel also has its own restaurant and a nice lobby (bar) where you can enjoy a snack and a drink in the evening. You can start the day off right with a full breakfast. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Surroundings
The surroundings of Zwolle offer many options for activities and sightseeing. Zwolle is a city with a rich history, beautiful canals and historical buildings such as the Sassenpoort and the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk. You can enjoy trips to the Stedelijk Museum or a visit to the cosy centre with numerous stores and restaurants. In the surrounding nature, you can bike and walk in nature reserves such as the Weerribben-Wieden.
