Houseboat (4p) with garden and view

This houseboat for 4 persons is rightfully a pearl on the Sneekermeer lake in the province of Friesland! From the accommodation you enjoy a view over the lake and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The Sneekermeer is the place to be if you love everything in and on the water. You can rent and experience almost everything in terms of water sports activities in this area.

The accommodation
The seating area of the boat is furnished with a sitting area containing a spacious corner sofa, coffee table, television and separate armchair. At the dining table, there is a comfortable sofa and two loose chairs, with room for 4 people. From all sides in the living room you have a view of the adjacent Sneekermeer through the huge windows. The kitchen has an induction hob, combi microwave, dishwasher, fridge (with the freezer compartment), toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. At the back of the ground floor houseboat, you will find the 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms are equipped with a double bed (160x200cm), closet, bedside table(s) and bedside lamps. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower with glass door, bathroom cabinet and a towel radiator. There is also a separate toilet. On both sides of the houseboat there are lovely terraces (together (10m2), the evening sun shines on the rear terrace. At the front of the house there is a terrace on the houseboat, here is a seat with two chairs and a table. Also on this side directly in front of the door there is a lovely sunbathing area/garden (100m2) with a picnic table for cosy dining and 2 comfortable loungers. Via the fixed swimming ladder you can lower yourself into the water and have a lovely swim in the Sneekermeer. The entire house (living room and bedrooms) are equipped with air conditioning so that even on hot summer days it is fine to stay. Wifi is free.

Surroundings
In the harbor you can enjoy lunch, drinks or dinner at the Beachclub which is open both summer and winter. Here you will also find the ferry to the starting island, a household name in Friesland. If you like water-skiing or want to try something new, you can have fun at the water-ski track which is within walking distance of the accommodation. About 7 km away you will find Sneek, a cosy town with nice restaurants and several surprising stores. Capital city Leeuwarden can be reached within 30 minutes by car, a cosy shopping city with plenty of terraces along the canals. In downtown Leeuwarden you will find great fashion stores, trendy pop-up stores, cute boutiques, special shopping streets and hidden gems. Leeuwarden lends itself perfectly to a pleasant afternoon of shopping.
