With its location between the villages of Elim and Hollandscheveld, the supermarket and other stores are close by. Hoogeveen has a centre with many stores, a fine theatre, a large cinema and several restaurants. Wildlands Emmen and the Drenthe capital Assen are also well worth a visit.
