Wellness lodge for 8 people

This beautiful lodge (with its own jacuzzi and sauna) can be found on a small-scale vacation park in the middle of the national park the Drentsche Aa, an unspoiled part of the Netherlands in the north of the province of Drenthe. Here you will experience peace and space, while the city life of Groningen (20 min. drive) and Assen (15 min. drive) is also within reach.

The lodge
The spacious forest lodge (area house 153 m2) has a spacious living room; light and spacious with large patio doors to the surrounding nature. The interior has a warm feel due to the use of natural materials and is air-conditioned. You will find a comfortable seating area with Smart TV and a spacious dining table overlooking the fine garden. The spacious modern kitchen has a large cooking island with an induction hob and sink with Quooker, cabinetry with oven and combo oven, Nespresso coffee machine, Braun kettle and fridge/freezer. Upstairs are four spacious bedrooms, one of which has its own shower and sink. Furthermore, you will find two more bathrooms, one with bath and shower and one with shower, toilet and sauna. On the landing is another separate toilet. There you will also find the air conditioning, which provides cooling for all bedrooms. Through the French doors, you reach the fine garden with a bubbling Jacuzzi, fireplace and outdoor kitchen. A generous overhang allows you to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors in nature even on a rainy day.

In the neighbourhood
In the vicinity of the park you can enjoy hiking, cycling, horseback riding or picnicking along the ancient stream. Cities such as Groningen and Assen are easy to reach and are only a 15 - 20 minute drive away; ideal for visiting museums, a day of shopping or dining in one of the many restaurants. A day trip to Wildlands zoo in Emmen (30-minute drive) is also highly recommended.
