Cozy forest cottage for 5 with large garden

This cosy cottage is located in the middle of the Drents-Friese Wold and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation or a nice weekend. You can completely relax in the beautiful green surroundings. In the large garden you will only hear the sounds of the forest. Enjoy the birdsong and the squirrels gathering their supplies. From the cottage you can walk and cycle straight into nature.

The cottage, with room for 5 people, has a spacious living room with large windows so you feel like you are in the middle of nature. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The cottage also has 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms with a double bed and a bedroom with a single bed. Furthermore, there are lots of games and if you finished your book, you just have to grab a new one from the shelf. The house has wifi, a TV and you can also work remotely. For the children, there is a trampoline, a swing and a large garden where they can get lost. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the sheltered terrace.

Nature and environment
There are dozens of walks and bike rides near the nature house, including to the Aekingermeer (Canada Lake) and the Aekingerzand. The Aekingermeer is a beautiful clean lake and has beaches and lawns all around. The Aekingerzand offers opportunities for endless walks through heaths and sand dunes and has a large watchtower. The cozy villages of Diever, Vledder, Dwingeloo, Appelscha and Frederiksoord are nice to visit and have good restaurants and cafes. If you prefer to visit a larger city then you are within 15 minutes in Assen or Emmen, and within half an hour in Groningen.
