Nature cottage (1-4p) with stunning views

Do you fancy a relaxing stay in beautiful and natural surroundings? In this cosy forest cottage you can find ultimate relaxation in the National Park the Park Drents-Friese Wold, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. From the cottage and the enclosed garden (1000m2) you have a beautiful view and you can spot deer. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has everything you need: good beds, well-equipped kitchen, lots of games, an outdoor fireplace and a pick-up. And it is wonderfully quiet.

The space
The house has a spacious living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 with a Swiss Sense Boxspring of 1.60 x 2.00 and 1 with a sturdy bunk bed from Flexa and good mattresses (suitable for both children and adults). The kitchen is simple, but has everything to prepare a delicious meal (a combi-oven/microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother, hand blender, sandwich maker, enough pans etc etc). The bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet and there are also 2 sheds with a washer and dryer. There are also a record player with long playing records for the ultimate in relaxation, a bluetooth radio tuner and binoculars to spot the birds in the garden and deer in the field. There are many board games in the cottage and in the evening you can roast marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace. In the garden there are several seating areas and a small canopy with a beautiful view.

The house has a private driveway and is 3/4 fenced with a 75 cm fence. At the back is a deep ditch that holds water in the winter. There is a sturdy sheep net available 90 cm high, 25 meters wide if you want to fence off the garden at the back.

NB : A partir de mi-mars 2026 la maison disposera d'un sauna avec vue sur la réserve naturelle. La salle de bain aura également été rénovée.

Surroundings
This accommodation is very convenient for a walking and cycling vacation in Drenthe, a weekend away with the kids and / or the dog. The cottage is further within driving distance of Appelscha (including restaurants and children's amusement park), Assen (stores and museums) and Giethoorn (boat rental).
