Large holiday home by the water (10 p)

Are you looking for a special group accommodation in North Holland? This beautiful vacation farm has room for 10 people. This group accommodation is situated in a unique location at the end of a cul-de-sac and directly on the water. From this accommodation you can make all kinds of nice trips and day trips. Here you can enjoy nature, peace and quiet and freedom. No traffic, plenty of privacy and the whole house for you alone!

The farm is very spacious (200m2) and has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In addition, a covered outdoor area with a wood stove and stone BBQ. In fine weather, there are several seating areas around the farmhouse where you can overlook the water and enjoy a cup of coffee or a nice cool drink.

Layout
You enter in the large hall. To the right there is a separate toilet with a door to the spacious bathroom with sink, shower, jet stream bath and washing machine. Here is also the first bedroom (with 2 luxury box spring beds), also called the garden room. Walking from the hall through the glass doors, you enter the spacious living room with high ceilings and where the old beams supporting the house are nicely visible. You look directly through the large French doors and the windows above them to the adjacent terrace. To the right of the living room is a second spacious bedroom with its own shower and toilet. This room also has two luxury boxpring beds (separate or together). Next to this room is a staircase up to the third bedroom. This also has two luxury boxprings and has a very nice view through to the living room downstairs. Back downstairs you walk to the two new bedrooms. These are equipped with two single boxprings, which can be separate or joined together. They are cosy, new and bright rooms with nostalgic barn windows. In front of the living room on the right is the country kitchen with a 5-burner stove, separate oven and microwave, two refrigerators with freezer, a dishwasher and plenty of utensils. In the centre of the room is the large round table in front of the French doors, where you can have a nice dinner together or play a game from our large games cabinet. Next to the table on the left is the spacious living room. Around the wood stove is plenty of room for everyone on the large sofa. The wood stove provides warmth and coziness, but there is also a good central heating system that heats the house. The beds are made up crisp clean for you, nice towels are ready. Even toilet paper, kitchen towels and spices are plentiful. Free parking spaces (max 4) are reserved on the property for your party.

In the garden is further a spacious half-open chalet with a stone BBQ, space sitting with leather sofas around the cosy large wood stove. There is also a large dining table inside and it is cosily furnished with sheepskins and lovely blankets you can sit under on a beautiful summer evening or cold winter day.

Canoes and rowing boats
From the living room, you walk through the large French doors onto the terrace. The two rowing boats and canoes are ready for you. You can really sail for hours and explore our beautiful polder. If you want to go out by bike, that is also possible. The owners work together with a reliable bicycle rental organisation.

Surroundings
The accommodation is located in the middle of the beautiful ancient nature reserve 'De Mijzenpolder'. This area symbolizes National Landscape Laag Holland, as this piece of polder is the least affected area in North Holland. The many picturesque villages in the area have delicious restaurants and local attractions. There is a very old museum steam streetcar running from Hoorn to Medemblik and there is a beautiful sauna 'Fort resort Beemster' 10 km away. Do you want a day of shopping? The nice city of Alkmaar is less than a 15-minute drive from this accommodation.
