Glamping lodge at the Vinkeveen lakes

This large, luxurious glamping lodge is located on one of the islands on the Vinkeveen lakes and is less than 5 minutes by boat from the Oldenburg near the Baambrugse Zuwe. The guests of this accommodation can park here (for a fee/ €3,- per car per day) and then sail to the accommodation by boat. The lodge can only be reached by boat. If you do not have a boat, you can rent a motorboat at the marina. The landlord can arrange this for you. Your stay will be the perfect opportunity to relax completely. From the large terrace, you have a beautiful view of the lakes! Truly a special experience.

The lodge has 3 bedrooms and is suitable for 6 people. There is a loft bedstead (2 persons) with a children's playroom or luggage room underneath. The master bedroom has a large four-poster bed with mosquito net (2 persons) and there is a bedroom with 2 single beds. The beds are freshly made for you upon arrival. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, and a spacious shower cabin with a rain shower. The living room has a spacious corner sofa for comfortable seating. For the cooler evenings, we have installed a heat lamp in the area. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and enough pots and pans to cook for 6 people. There is also a large fridge with 3 freezer drawers and enough space for drinks and other groceries that need to be refrigerated.

There is also a large outdoor terrace (5 by 5 meters), which is partly above the water. The porch is equipped with lounge chairs and a parasol. From the terrace, you have a fantastic view of the lakes. There is a large picnic table, a trampoline (which is shared with another accommodation) and old surfboards you can use.

The owners also ensure that basic necessities such as coffee, tea, salt & pepper, herbs for cooking and toilet paper are present when you arrive. This way you can immediately enjoy the fantastic surroundings and a wonderful vacation.

Surroundings
The Vinkeveense Plassen (Vinkeveen Lakes) is a popular and well-known recreation and nature area. The lakes are characterized by the legacies that were created by the extraction of peat. The islands used to be drying fields for the still-wet peat. The remnants are now 80% owned by private individuals, who use the islands for recreation. The Vinkeveense Plassen is a popular water sports area. Not surprisingly so, because you can swim, sail, surf, dive and relax. Along the lakes, you will find many restaurants and cafés. Should you wish to visit the city during your stay, you can reach Amsterdam within 20 minutes, and the center of Utrecht within 30 minutes.
