This cozy treehouse can be found on a nice campsite in Drenthe. The campsite is located in the middle of the forest and has many facilities including a playground, restaurant and swimming pool. The vicinity also offers plenty to see and do.

Note: this treehouse can be booked for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years). It is NOT possible to stay here with 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children over the age of 12!

The treehouse has 2 single beds and 2 hammocks (for children) and is therefore ideal for a nice father / mother child outing or a family trip. You need to bring your own comforters / sleeping bags and towels. Optionally, you can book these with your reservation. In the treehouse, there is a small stove, so you can heat up a quick meal. Pans, plates, cutlery etc. are not available and should be brought. There is no toilet or shower in the treehouse, but you can use the sanitary facilities in the sanitary building of the campsite. The treehouse is available from 1 April to 30 October.

The campsite
The campsite has all the necessary ingredients for a successful and well-deserved vacation. The children can enjoy the large playground, a play room, and a canteen with a library and games to play inside when the weather is not so good. In addition, the park has a cozy restaurant, snack bar, small camp store, and it is possible to get freshly baked rolls and a newspaper every morning. Would you like to explore the surroundings? Then you can rent bikes at the campsite.

Swimming pool
The campsite has its own swimming pool with a sliding roof. This allows you to swim indoors in bad weather, but you can enjoy a lovely outdoor pool with sunbathing area in good weather. The pool is heated to 29 degrees in both summer and winter.

The surroundings
In addition to the beautiful cycling and walking routes you can take in Drenthe, there is much more to see and experience. For example, visit the prison museum in Veenhuizen, the dolmen museum in Borger, the theme park Nienoord (up to +/- 8 years) with a large child-friendly playground and apetting zoo or the climbing forest in Grolloo. Would you prefer a day of shopping or relaxing on a terrace? Then Assen (10 minutes) and Groningen (30 minutes) are easily accessible from the campsite.
