Sleep in beautiful church

Enjoy the Groningen countryside in this former church, furnished as a luxury holiday home, as your base. It is perfect for lovers of space and tranquillity. Enjoy your holiday in this atmospheric church which was built in 1886 and used for church service until 2009. After that, it was used as a care church for 10 years. In 2020, it was converted into a holiday home for two people.

This accommodation is fully equipped. There is a cosy wooden seating area. The spacious kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle and filter coffee maker. There is also coffee, sugar, milk powder, salt, oil, detergent, dishwasher tablets etc. for you. Of course, there are also enough towels and tea towels. The large bed (1.80 x 2.10) stands on a small elevation in the church. The bed with two comforters freshly made for you. The luxury of a box spring with comfortable bedding will guarantee a relaxing holiday feeling! The church is an ideal place to relax. There is also a large TV. The bathroom has a rain shower, an extra toilet and underfloor heating. There are plenty of towels and wash cloths, and in the pantry, you will find a washing machine and ironing board that you can use. There are books, magazines, games and brochures about what to do in the area.

Next to the church is the spacious garden with several seating areas which offer a lot of privacy. The view over the countryside and the beautiful skies are breathtaking. Sleeping in this church is an exceptional experience!
