You’ll spend your first night on the northern coast of France. Here, you can take beautiful walks along the beach, and there’s also a nature park nearby. If you love history, there’s a military museum that chronicles the events in northern France. On the first night, you’ll stay in a cozy holiday home for 4 people at a vacation park. The accommodation is located 900 meters from the sandy beach and the lively promenade. Here, you can enjoy delicious food, charming shops, and a lively atmosphere.
Days 2, 3, and 4
From the northern coast, the journey continues inland. After a drive of just under 3 hours, you’ll be just past Paris and will stay in this cozy tiny house on a farm. It’s an ideal destination for nature and history lovers, offering opportunities for hiking, biking, and enjoying the local cuisine. During your stay here, you can savor culinary delights—especially local specialties—such as the farmer’s homemade cheeses. Try, for example, the traditional farmhouse brie or the distinctive black brie, aged in the cellar. The surroundings are very rural and peaceful. You can visit various castles, including the imposing Château de Fontainebleau.
Days 4, 5, and 6
From the tiny house, the journey continues southeast, near the Swiss border. On Day 4, you’ll drive just over 300 kilometers to reach this beautiful destination. You’ll arrive at a charming campground on the outskirts of the historical village of Ornans. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the beautiful natural surroundings. For example, go kayaking on the La Loue River or explore caves with a speleologist. If you’d like to cast a line, the La Loue River, which flows past the campground, is the perfect spot. You can soak up some culture at the Musée national Courbet, where more than 70 different works by Gustave Courbet are on display. The view from the campground of the surrounding mountains is impressive. You can go on endless hikes here. You’ll sleep in a luxury safaritent equipped with all the amenities you need, including a kitchen and bathroom.

The area around the lake is perfect for hiking and enjoying various scenic viewpoints. It’s also located at the foot of Les Écrins National Park. This nature reserve has deep lakes and lush forests as its features. Within walking distance is a small beach where you can also take a boat to Toulon. Want to spend a day at the beach? In just over 2 hours, you’ll be on the beaches of the Côte d’Azur. During these days, you’ll be staying in a luxury safaritent overlooking the lake. The tent is located at a cozy campground with plenty of amenities, including a swimming pool, a waterfront restaurant, a tennis court, and a bowling alley.
