You can enjoy cycling and hiking here. Just a 5-minute walk from the accommodation is a beautiful lake, perfect for swimming in the summer.

And not only is the location special, but also the accommodation where you will be sleeping: You will spend the night in a converted army vehicle! From the outside, the 'MASH' (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) is still in its original form, but inside it has been transformed into a wonderful place to stay. The army field hospital vehicle is equipped with a double bed, a sink, an electric stove, a refrigerator, and a coffee/tea maker. The bathroom with a shower and toilet is located in a small building just 10 meters away.

On a sunny day, you can sit on your own terrace and enjoy the beautiful view. There are also several farm animals on the property, including chickens, cows, goats, dogs, and a horse, all of which are friendly and love attention. Upon request, you can also see how the bed & breakfast's cheese is made.

Surroundings
A vacation in Uplengen on the East Frisian coast is worthwhile all year round. You can enjoy beautiful bike rides and hikes in the area. Would you rather go shopping and visit a city? The beautiful city of Oldenburg is only half an hour away. In December, the Christmas market in the city of Bremen (about an hour's drive away) is definitely worth a visit. Another nice day trip is to the Wadden Sea island of Borkum. The ferry to the German island departs from Emden (a 30-minute drive away).
