Sleep in a helicopter

Looking for an unusual overnight stay? Look no further. At a beautiful campsite in North Holland, you can sleep in a real helicopter! It is a Lynx helicopter of the RAF (British Royal Air Force). This helicopter even played in the movie 'The Lake' and is now on display at the campsite.

The helicopter is suitable for 2 persons. Inside, you can chill and experience a new kind of sleep. There is a TV and the helicopter has a covered terrace with a simple outdoor kitchen where you can cook a meal and make coffee. In the helicopter you have your own toilet, for showers you can use the sanitary building on the campsite. The helicopter is heated and therefore also suitable to book during the colder months.

The campsite is located in the region of Wieringerwerf in North Holland. There is plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. Take a walk on the North Holland beach or go shopping in Amsterdam or Alkmaar. And the lakes with 'Lutjestrand' on the IJsselmeer is also worth a visit.
